Maruti Swift Volt Overview

Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has launched their latest Swift with a customized outfit at  2014 Delhi Auto Expo on February 7, 2014. Equipped with  a specially designed customized kit worth 2.15 lakhs, new Swift Volt is expected to be around 9.50 lakhs. New Kit is specially designed to excite the youngsters, as it gives a spectacular sporty looks and an extraordinary experience which lacks in most of the hatchbacks. The kit will also include original warrenty details.

Maruti Swift Volt Exterior

New Maruti Swift Volt is coming with distinctive, stylish sporty exterior which includes thick mesh front grille outlined with red, new attractive head light cluster, projector lights and LED daytime running lights. A white frontal and bumber which incorporates air intakes, fog lights and LED casings concludes the frontal part. 

A pillar and front windshield connects its white hood with a classy red-roof which is attached with sporty red rear spoiler. Painted in matte black, its rear bumber is equipped with dual exhaust pipes, rear diffuser and LED tail lights. Other attracting prospects are white and black transition graphics pattern provided on the sides, low red side skirts  and the power external wing mirrors with integrated turn indicators, New Volt is coming with stylish black multi-spoke 15-inch alloy wheels with 185/65 tubeless radial tires.

Maruti Swift Volt Interior

Maruti Suzuki has been careful in maintaining their sporty design throughout as red strips are provided on the dashboard, door and also on the steering wheel. Updates also includes, new gear lever, chrome finish center console,  seats finished in black and red combination and a new touch screen audio system .

Maruti Swift Volt Engine and Transmission 

Powered with a 1248cc, 1.3L, 4-cylinders, 16-valves, DDiS diesel engine, new Maruti Suzuki Volt delivers maximum power of 74bhp at 4,000rpm and a maximum torque of 190Nm at 2,000rpm. Smooth 5 speed manual transmission will let you climb 0-100 kmph in less than 12 seconds. It has a topspeed of 155kmph which is very competitive in its segment. 

Maruti Swift Volt Mileage

It is expected to deliver a mileage 18-20 kmpl in the city conditions and 22-23 kmpl on the highways.

Maruti Swift Volt Safety

For the safety, it has anti-theft system, dual front airbags, ABS with BA, fog lamps and with power windows. It has front disk brakes and rear drum brakes.

Maruti Swift Volt Colours and Price 

Maruti Swift Volt is available as a custom kit in a combination of white, red and black shades at an ex-showroom, Delhi price of INR 9.50 lakhs.
